Madrid, Spain -May, 2020, AVON concluded the contract with Verifarma for mandatory digital marking of products in Russia. Verifarma will administrate generation and printing of serial numbers as well as the connection with Unified national track & trace digital system “Chestny ZNAK” for the exchange of information.
Russia introduces mandatory digital marking of perfumes, light industry products to protect business and consumers from counterfeit . Unique digital code (Data Matrix) should be applied on products packaging to ensure transparency and complete monitoring throughout of the supply chain and in this way, guarantee the quality of the products that customers buy.
Verifarma has 11 years of experience in goods serialization and experience in preparation of pharmaceutical products to serialization in Russia.
The contract concluded between Avon and Verifarma includes the administration of the process of generation and printing of serial numbers as well as the connection with Unified national track & trace digital system “Chestny ZNAK” for the exchange of information. Verifarma will also provide IT service for tracking and withdrawal of serialized products from warehouses throughout the Russian territory.
